The vest is coming along nicely, I really like knitting in Cascade’s Fixation, the little bit of elastic make a perfect stitch

Right front and lower back parts are done, it took me 4 evenings to finish that.

The Fan shape started, 217 stitches and decreasing only 100 more rows to go

I finally finished my log cabin felted purse, much to my grandaughter Libby’s delight.
That is until I told her it was not for her, but I promised to do a small scale version for her.

Before felting

All done!!
Then, of course she also wanted to learn to knit, but after 10sts her arms were tired,
but she got the hang off it real quick. Not bad for 5 years, I guess!

Help!!!

Did I drop a Stitch??

This is how you do it!

The tulips are coming up, and the Jasmine is ready to bloom

Summer time is coming, I can feel it. But I wish they would leave this time change alone. It was hard to get up this morning, I am already tired, and it is only noon.
I have been busy knitting a vest for a new class, I hope this will excite a few of you. I am really enjoying knitting it and can hardly put it down.It is from the new Vogue Knitting Magazine and made in Cascade Fixation, a great cotton yarn with a bit of elastic added to keep it’s shape. It is knitted totally different to anything I have ever knitted before, all sort of weird twist and turns. Lots of fun. The class will start soon, and it will a KAL, you will be given the pattern in instalments as you progress. Whoever finishes the vest will take part in a drawing for a gift certificate worth $50 in yarn. Call me 706-259-6713 or email krazyknitz@hotmail.com to sign up, the class fee is $30, materials for the vest approx $36 – $42, 2 size 7 circular needles
